Tamara Isakova, MD recognized as ASN Distinguished Mentor

Tamara Isakova, MD - Director of NUGoKidney's Clinical & Translational Core (Core C) - is the recipient of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) 2019 Distinguished Mentor Award. 

The award recognizes individuals who have made contributions to the kidney community through the mentorship and development of other clinicians or researchers. Recipients will be honored during ASN Kidney Week in November.

Dr. Isakova's commitment to mentorship and sharing her expertise with developing trainees was also recently recognized with Northwestern's Mentor of the Year Award on April 4.
